Tenant Guide: From Viewing to Moving In
Finding your next home should be an exciting and stress-free experience. At Property Wise, we're committed to supporting you throughout the entire rental journey – from your first enquiry right through to moving day and beyond.
Finding Your New Home
When you spot a property you love from our selection of available homes, contact our friendly team to arrange a viewing. We recommend doing this as soon as possible, as desirable properties can be let quickly.
Reserving a Property
Once you've found the right home, the next step is to complete a tenancy application, which can be submitted online. Subject to the landlord accepting your offer, we will immediately remove the property from the market and begin the next stages of the process.
Referencing and Approval
To protect both our landlords and their properties, all prospective tenants are required to undergo referencing. This process typically takes between 3 and 5 working days and includes employment verification and credit checks. Where required, guarantor references and credit checks will also be obtained.
Completing the Tenancy
Once referencing has been successfully completed, we will prepare the tenancy agreement and arrange payment of the tenancy deposit and first month's rent. Future rental payments will then be made monthly by standing order.
Moving In
On the day you move in, a member of our team will meet you at the property and guide you through the inventory report, which will need to be signed. After that, all that's left for you to do is settle in and start enjoying your new home.
